How to Order Delivery
We offer local cookie delivery to majority of the lower mainland. Orders over $75 get free delivery if the address is within our zones.
Upon checking out, please select "Delivery" and the fee will automatically apply when you enter the delivery address. If the area you would like your cookies to be delivered to is not within our zones, contact us and we can see what we can do for you!
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
We are now partnering with Locvl Delivery for all our deliveries.
1. The cookie recipient will receive a text when the Locvl driver has begun their task and is directly en route to their destination. The text will state that a Locvl delivery driver has started their delivery with a predicted estimated time of arrival (ETA) as well as a live tracker link to check where exactly the driver is coming from should they want to check.
2. The cookie recipient will receive a follow up text when the Locvl driver is arriving at the destination. This is to notify the cookie recipient so they can make their way to their door or come downstairs - depending what their delivery entails.
3. Lastly, they will receive a text message either confirming the completion of their delivery.
OR notifying them of a failed delivery with a phone number attached to call and rearrange another attempt at a later time.
Please be aware and understand that BAK'D is not responsible for any failed delivery attempts and/or damaged cookies.
FAILED DELIVERY PROTOCOL
In almost all deliveries where there is a accessible point to safely leave a delivery (ie. a residential home or a building with concierge), Locvl's driver will leave a delivery (unless otherwise instructed not too).
If they can't get ahold of the customer and attach a photo with notes for our dispatch team in case there is any reason to look back at the completion of said delivery. We ask that driver's text the customer to let them know of their item at their door, which will actually lead to the 4th text message being sent to the recipient.
At any deliveries where all information provided has been used and a driver still is unable to complete a delivery (ie. no answer on phone number at an apartment delivery, no buzzer provided, or no answer on buzzer) Locvl's driver will contact dispatch and ask that they try to contact the customer from Locvl's office phone. If there is still no answer, dispatch typically will leave a message to contact Locvl's office directly to arrange another attempt.
When timing is working in Locvl's favor, dispatch will contact BAK'D directly to see if any more information can be provided or if BAK'D is able to track down the recipient within a short window of time, when all options have been exhausted the driver will fail the attempt.
NOTE
All communications between drivers and recipients including the text messages sent are sent through a secondary phone number specific to Locvl which means driver and customer phone numbers always remain anonymous to each other. Recipients can communicate through text or phone to our driver while their task is active to relay any information needed. In the event a recipient needs to contact us as a company and tries to call that assigned number back it will no longer go to the driver the phone call will actually get rerouted back to our office where our dispatch or admin can help them reschedule a delivery!
Please be aware and understand that BAK'D is not responsible for any failed delivery attempts and/or damaged cookies.
